Kristian Solmer Vedel – Modus Lounge Chair, 1960s

Rare “Modus” lounge chair, designed by Kristian Solmer Vedel and manufactured by Søren Willadsen Møbelfabrik in Denmark in the 1960s.

An iconic example of Scandinavian mid-century design, featuring a solid wooden frame and distinctive black leather upholstery. Its elegant, floating form offers excellent seating comfort and makes this chair a timeless design classic.

The chair is in very good vintage condition. The leather shows a beautiful age-related patina as well as light signs of use. The frame is stable and well preserved.
